About DTB Kids
Born from years of writing, teaching and praying for children — now a school day full of wonder.
Why we exist
Most children spend their days learning subjects. Far fewer spend any structured time learning who they are — in faith, in character, in confidence. Dare To Believe Kids exists to close that gap. We are a Christ-centered virtual after-school program for children ages 5–10, complementing regular schooling with live, joyful sessions in faith, character, emotional wellbeing, creativity and leadership.
Where we come from
DTB Kids grows out of Dare To Believe International — a family of faith and character resources including daily children's devotionals, parenting prayer guides, and character-development programs used by families in Nigeria and beyond. The classroom is new; the heart behind it has been years in the making.
What we believe about children
- Every child carries a purpose — our job is to help them discover it, not to pour one in.
- Faith should feel like an adventure — never fear, never pressure, never shame.
- Character is practiced, not preached — kindness and courage are weekly challenges, not lecture topics.
- Feelings are welcome here — children learn to name emotions and build healthy confidence, gently and age-appropriately.
- Parents are partners — you see everything that matters, always.
Nimi Adetiran
Nimi Adetiran is an educator, consultant and creative technologist dedicated to raising the next generation to learn boldly and believe bigger. The visionary behind DTB Kids and President of Dare To Believe International, she blends evidence-based youth development, faith-filled character formation, and modern digital innovation — from authoring children's devotionals and interactive storybooks to engineering gamified learning experiences and animated educational media — designing holistic tools that nurture confident, emotionally grounded, and empowered children.
A published author of faith and character resources for families — and a mother herself — Nimi's mental-health advocacy shapes the gentle, responsible way DTB Kids approaches children's emotional wellbeing. She founded Dare To Believe International to help children know who God says they are — and DTB Kids is that mission, live, every week.
