Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your family's information — in plain language.

Last updated: August 15, 2026. This policy covers the DTB Kids website and program, operated by Dare To Believe International ("DTB", "we", "us"), based in Nigeria and serving families worldwide. Questions? Email daretobelieveinternational@gmail.com or WhatsApp +234 706 252 4768.

1. What we collect — and why

  • From parents/guardians: your name, WhatsApp number, email and country — so we can enrol your family, send orientation and class information, and support you.
  • About your child (provided by you): first name and surname (kept private for our records), a chosen nickname (the only name ever visible in classes), age track, and your photo-consent choice — so we can run your child's classes safely and age-appropriately.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by our payment providers (such as Selar). We receive confirmation of payment; we do not receive or store your card details.
  • Website basics: our hosting provider processes standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to serve the website securely. We do not run advertising trackers.

2. Children's information

  • All child information is provided by a parent or guardian — children do not create accounts or submit forms themselves.
  • We collect the minimum needed to run the program. Only your child's nickname is visible to coaches' screens or other participants — never their full name.
  • Photos of children are used only where a parent has given explicit consent, and only with a first name or nickname.
  • There is no child-to-child messaging anywhere in DTB Kids, and live class streams have comments switched off.

3. How we use and share information

We use your information to run DTB Kids: enrolment, class delivery, parent updates, and safeguarding. We never sell your information. We share it only with the service providers who make the program work — our website host (Netlify, which also receives form submissions), payment processors (such as Selar), video platform (YouTube), and messaging (WhatsApp/email) — each of which handles data under its own privacy policy, and with authorities where the law requires or a child's safety demands it.

4. Storage, retention and your rights

  • We keep your information only as long as your family is part of DTB Kids or as needed for legitimate records, then delete it.
  • You may ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete your family's information — including all of your child's details — by contacting us at daretobelieveinternational@gmail.com. We will act promptly.
  • We apply the data-protection principles of Nigeria's NDPA 2023, and we aim to honour the spirit of international children's-privacy rules (such as GDPR and COPPA) for our diaspora families.

5. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date above, and notify enrolled families of significant changes through our usual channels.

The new term begins August 23.

Give your child an afternoon a week that shapes who they're becoming — in faith, character and confidence.
