Our Safeguarding Commitments
Everything about DTB Kids is designed so children can learn joyfully — and safely.
Our promise to your family
Child safety is not a feature of DTB Kids — it is the foundation every other decision is built on. These are the commitments we make to every family, and hold ourselves accountable to.
1. Minimal information, carefully protected
- We collect only what we genuinely need: your child's name (kept private for our records), age track, and your contact details.
- Only your child's chosen nickname is ever visible to coaches' screens or other participants — never their full name.
- No child photos are published anywhere without your explicit, specific consent for each use.
- You can ask us to correct or delete your child's information at any time.
2. No open communication, ever
- Children can never privately message other children, coaches, or anyone else through DTB Kids.
- Live classes are streamed with comments switched off; children join with one tap and no account of their own.
- All communication flows through parents — you are always in the loop.
3. Vetted, accountable adults
- Every coach is screened before joining, trained in child safeguarding, and works to a written code of conduct.
- A designated Safeguarding Lead — our founder — personally oversees all concerns and responses.
- Any concern raised is logged, handled confidentially, and escalated to appropriate professionals where needed.
4. Wellbeing, handled responsibly
- Our emotional wellbeing activities are educational — feelings vocabulary, friendship skills, gratitude and confidence.
- We never test, score, diagnose or label children. DTB Kids is not a mental health service.
- If a coach becomes concerned about a child, we talk to you — the parent — and can help signpost qualified professional support.
Raising a concern

The new term begins August 23.
Give your child an afternoon a week that shapes who they're becoming — in faith, character and confidence.
